These new substrates offer excellent surface smoothness, making them ideal for fine circuit patterns and thin-film circuit applications.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image c-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"560\" height=\"373\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nikko-company.co.jp\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/alumina_NA995.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9614\" style=\"width:500px\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list c-list\">\n<li>High purity (99.5% or higher) with low internal porosity for stable electrical properties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent surface smoothness improves the yield of fine-pattern fabrication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High flexural strength provides excellent handling characteristics, even with thin substrates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High insulation and low dielectric loss ensure stable performance in high-voltage, high-frequency, and plasma environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Behind the Development<\/strong><br>As electronic devices continue to become smaller and more sophisticated, demand has grown for alumina substrates with higher purity and more stable performance, particularly for thin-film applications and fine line\/space (L\/S) designs.<br>In response to customer requests for a reliable supply of high-purity alumina substrates and the market&#8217;s increasing demand for advanced ceramic materials, NIKKO collaborated with a partner company to develop a new high-purity alumina grade by combining each company&#8217;s technological strengths.<br>Utilizing its expertise in ceramic manufacturing, from raw material formulation to forming and sintering, NIKKO optimized the material properties required for thin-film applications and integrated them into the production process.<br>The result is a 99.5% Alumina Substrate that delivers excellent performance for thin-film circuits and fine-pattern applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Future Applications<\/strong><br>In addition to outstanding surface smoothness, the 99.5% Alumina Substrate offers excellent electrical insulation, high heat resistance, and superior mechanical strength.
